Where has my money been going?

I got a statravel mastercard for my time in Japan & I was warned that ATM use will incur a £2.50 charge. But I just found out that a pretty big chunk

I got a statravel mastercard for my time in Japan & I was warned that ATM use will incur a £2.50 charge. But I just found out that a pretty big chunk of my money is be taken, although I only have 1 transaction as evidence.
I took out ¥60,000(£309.85) at a 7&i convenience store atm & I've just been told that £339.18 was taken out of my account from that transaction. Is it me or is that an excessive charge? Where's all that money going?
