or:I saw Carl Swindler in New York with my wife and he was amazing. Basically a mentalist is a magician who uses not only misdirection and sleight of hand but also suggestion, psychology and influence in order to give the perception of being able to read minds and control people's thoughts and behavior. His stage show is called Magic, Hypnosis & Mind Games. My wife and I loved his show, very entertaining and you come out asking the right question. \"How did he do that?\" If your friends are inviting you to see him, I truly recommend that you go.
