Jesus from the Bible.

or:Jesus from the Bible.

or:He's the main character of a collection of books known as The New Testament, which is debated as to whether it's fiction or truth. Regardless, it was butchered by the Council of Nicea starting around the year 300, who chose to remove stuff they didn't agree with, so we'll probably never know what the original books said. Jesus was a Jew, who disapproved of some of the hypocritical practices of the priests, so he went around and spoke to other Jews, trying to reform Judaism, so that Jews would not only follow the hundreds of rules from the Jewish bible (later called the Old Testament), but to also treat people better, and not act so pompously. At least a hundred years after the first books, books were added to the collection, that twisted the words of Jesus (from the first books) as if he was giving direction to both Jews and non-Jews.Ironically, the religions that now "follow" Jesus, known collectively as Christianity, and its various cult variations (Catholic, Protestant, Lutheran, Mormon, etc.) don't follow the rules of the Old Testament, except when they wish to use portions as excuses to be bigots, such as a reason to hate gays. It's also ironic that the teachings of Jesus, for being loving towards one another, while many so-called Christians are antisemitic. Another irony is that he taught that people shouldn't flaunt their religion, and many so-called Christians spit in his face by wearing a crucifix, and pray for things in churches, while he actually taught that people shouldn't pray for things (because God knows what we want) and should only pray in private. If people actually followed the teachings of Jesus, according to his actual teachings as written in these books, then they would be orthodox Jews who additionally act in better ways. Instead, millions of people call themselves Christians, living however they choose, and pick bits and pieces from the Bible to feel superior to those who don't agree with them. Millions of people have been killed in the name of Jesus, during the conquering of the Americas, during the Crusades, and during the Reformation War.In summary, the world would have been a far better place had the stories of Jesus never been.

or:QUESTION: Was Jesus just a good man?ANSWER: No. He was far more than that. Jesus understood that he filled a number of important roles in carrying out God’s will. Here are a few of them:● “Only-begotten Son of God.” (John 3:18) Jesus knew his roots. His life actually began long before his birth on earth. “I have come down from heaven,” he explained. (John 6:38) Jesus was God’s first creation, and he helped in the creation of all other things. As the only one directly created by God, Jesus could rightly be called “the only-begotten Son of God.”—John 1:3, 14; Colossians 1:15, 16.● “Son of man.” (Matthew 8:20) Jesus many times referred to himself as “the Son of man,” using an expression that occurs about 80 times in the Gospels. This expression indicates that he was fully human and not God incarnate. How did God’s only-begotten Son come to be born as a human? By means of holy spirit, Jehovah transferred his Son’s life to the womb of the Jewish virgin Mary, causing conception to take place. As a result, Jesus was born sinless and perfect.—Matthew 1:18; Luke 1:35; John 8:46.● “Teacher.” (John 13:13) Jesus made it clear that his God-given work was “teaching . . . and preaching the good news” about God’s Kingdom. (Matthew 4:23; Luke 4:43) With remarkable clarity and simplicity, he explained what God’s Kingdom is and what it will do in fulfilling Jehovah’s will.—Matthew 6:9, 10.● “The Word.” (John 1:1) Jesus served as God’s Spokesman—the means by which God conveyed information and instruction to others. Jehovah used Jesus to deliver His message to humans on earth.—John 7:16, 17.

or:God's word the Bible tells us who is Jesus Christ. Let's look at a few facts :1)Matthew 1:18/21, says, "But this is how the birth of Jesus Christ took place. During the the time his mother Mary was promised in marriage to Joseph, she was found to be pregnant by Holy Spirit before they were united. (21) She will give birth to a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins. So the above help us to see Mary gave birth to Jesus, by means of Holy Spirit she got pregnant. This shows that Jesus did not come into the world because of man sins but came as a perfect one sinless.2) John 17:3, "This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ."So what must you do to have everlasting life? We know the scripture says knowledge of God and his son is essential in having everlasting life.3) John 3:16,"For God loved the world so much that he gave his only -begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life."Because of the self sacrificing love God had for mankind, he gave his son as a sacrifice so that sinners could gain life. It's vital that we come into a relationship with our God and show appreciation for the great sacrifice he and his son Jesus Christ have gave to mankind. Hope this information was satisfying to yo. or:Jesus Christ was the greatest man that ever lived. There are many famous people in the world, but of them all, Jesus Christ is the most well known. He lived on earth around 2000 years ago, but many people are confused about who he is and what he did. It is important to know the truth about him because doing so can mean your everlasting life.Prior to Jesus’ birth on earth, angels had appeared on this planet in human form, apparently materializing suitable bodies for the occasion, then dematerializing them after completing such assignments. (Ge 19:1-3) But they remained spirit creatures, merely employing a physical body temporarily. However, this was not the case with the coming of God’s Son to earth to become the man Jesus. The record of Jesus’ early life is very brief. Born in Bethlehem of Judea, King David’s native city, he was taken to Nazareth in Galilee after the family returned from Egypt—all of this in fulfillment of divine prophecy. (Mt 2:4-6, 14, 15, 19-23; Mic 5:2; Ho 11:1; Isa 11:1; Jer 23:5) Jesus’ adoptive father, Joseph, was a carpenter (Mt 13:55) and evidently of little means. As an expression of his Father’s undeserved kindness, Christ Jesus laid down his perfect human life in sacrifice. This made possible the union of Christ’s chosen followers with him in his heavenly reign and also made possible the arrangement for earthly subjects of his Kingdom rule.
