So little backstory, I’m 23 and have been drinking(6+ drinks) most weekends since I turned 21. I’ve had hangovers before, when I’d overdo it but not often. Last weekend I really over did it, and was *warning* vomiting bright yellow/green bile for about 6 hours, once every hour. When I was finally able to keep liquids down, I drank a Pedialyte, smoked a bowl, and I felt fine. This weekend, I went out for Halloween and had 3 mixed drinks, 2 whiskey with squirt, and a mojito. No shots. I was well hydrated, and had enough to eat. After only 3 drinks, I feel like I got hit by a truck. I woke up having a terrible headache, nausea, diarrhea, light sensitivity, facial flushing, hot flashes, brain fog. This is normally how I would feel if I had a lot to drink, taking a lot of shots or making my drinks very strong. Is this something I should be worried about, since I’ve never had this reaction to such a small amount before? Especially with me being this young, should I worry about alcohol intolerance? I’m planning to stop drinking all together because of how terrible I feel, but I just want to know if I should be worried about my health/liver.
