Why do I like seeing fictional characters being restrained? What is wrong with me?

The character could be in shackles, in a prison/cell, or even just two people holding the characters arms so that s/he cant run away. And no, its not

And no, it's not a fetish, I don't get turned on by this. I just find myself going back to those particular scenes and empathising with their struggles.

Why am I like this? What's wrong with me? What can I do about this?

or:There isn't anything wrong with you for getting thrill from watching certain scenes like that. Maybe it gives you a sense of power or control. Maybe you just like seeing restricted movement. It's really not anything to be ashamed or embarrassed of :/ Don't blame yourself. There is always somebody out there who shares that interest with you. It's not creepy... I mean you're human. It's normal.

or:Sometimes a scene can reflect your psychological tendency. In this case, your psyche tend to show up, that you has a power over anything, though sometimes merciless. But, don't worry. Often times merciless can shape goodness. Just never think that merciless is good.
