or:Hai this is sujitha,Most people think that its a tradition for Hindus and culture.but most of the Cultural Traditional have scientific Reasons.Now My Answer is \" its a Scientific Reason Read below\"Rainy Season Starts from Ashadamasam that is July -aug and due to the heavy rains and water will be polluted Every where.it came from Old Tradition know so the Leaf of \"gorintaku\" will have medical Power to heal the Nails of finger and cure from infections.(black colour nails will be formed).because of rains.Most of the Men In villages Keep Gorintaku only for nails.So, Basically I am a Village Girl I know some what information about this from my Grand ma...AS she was Educated she Explained the scientific Reason for Me in my childhood..Thanks a Lot Bye.....
