Hello,

I'm a dutch boy (17yo) who went on vacation to NYC and was approached for an agecy there. The sane day i came in at the agency and the same day i had a casting. This was all in may 2014 and now, half a year further nothing really changed except siging a contract for a period of 3 years. And i cant wait anymore.

Am i just being impatient by wanting to start or is it really taking to long for the agency to give me work

or:You may never get work with them. All you have done is promise them that you will not do modelling work for any other agency while they have you on their books. Your photo and stats have been added to a catalogue they keep of candidates. Clients visit their offices and look through the book, if you get picked you get work but they (probably) have thousands of models so your chances are very slim. You however cannot get work with any other agency. I suggest you review your contract if you are serious about a career in modelling and see if there is a get out clause. If you have returned home though there is no cahnce whatsoever of you finding work with them.
