Why does my crush blankly stare?

So i said to him on Facebook that i loved him and he was fit (ik its bad no hate) and he called me a weirdo, NOT in the jokey way. He stopped flirting

So i said to him on Facebook that i loved him and he was fit (ik its bad no hate) and he called me a weirdo, NOT in the jokey way. He stopped flirting and all that, but yesterday, the day i happened to wear eyeliner for the first day, he literally stared into my eyes deeply for 9 seconds and smiled. Also today he watched me getting up and walking. I want to apologise but im too frightened so why does he blank stare and never approach,. Plus, his friends stare a lot too. Thankyou and no hate!
