Why does my rainbow shark stay near the filter?

I got 2 fish one is a black fin shark and the other one is a rainbow shark/ red fin shark. The rainbow shark was swing around and the next day its next to the filter and doesn't move from there, it is still breathing and moving its fins but it won't move away from the filter. Whats wrong with my fish?

or:i think its helping it to breath he may not be getting the air it needs plus it matters how long you have had him the other one isnt doing this right ?the other one might have came down with something might be from something in the tank it came into exposure to i would call where you got him at and tell them what he is doing
or:well it's ither it doesnt like the water or it wants fresh air or a biger tank to live in or a mait
