Every year we cook Christmas dinner. This year my wife's mom bought the food. To my surprise when she was leaving she took the food with her in our Tupperware. Am I out of line thinking this is rude?

or:Yes this is very rude! But whatever you do, don't bring it up because that might seem a bit rude or weird yourself! Instead next year just put the food away without saying anything and she probably won't ask, if she does just say you're putting it away for leftovers. She would be pretty childish is she said that she wanted to take it home!
