So in December, my dad gave my mom some money to buy me a laptop. We went to Wal-Mart, but all of Wal-Mart's laptops had Windows 8 or Windows 8 Pro pre-installed. I ended up getting one with Windows 8 (not Pro). I soon found out that The Sims 2 isn't compatible with Windows 8, which upset me, but I moved on to The Sims 3. Hanukkah is in December and I really want The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for PC, but I read online that it's not compatible with Windows 8. I thought of downgrading to Windows 7, but regular Windows 8 doesn't have "downgrade rights", only Windows 8 Pro does. However, I read online that Windows 8 users can switch to Windows 7 if they buy a Windows 7 license. I was wondering, how do I buy the license? Do I just buy a Windows 7 disc (with a product key code), or am I confused about the license and I'm just out of luck? Please help. :(

or:From my previous problems with Windows 8 I believe that the disk for another Windows has to be a higher Windows to use the disk.
