With a Nvidia Titan X (Pascal) and an i7 6850k, A 4000 DOLLAR PC, I run many games slow!?
First of all, I run all games in a 1440p 144hz G-Sync monitor. Frames in optimized games such as Overwatch and Alien Isolation run fine, with over 144
First of all, I run all games in a 1440p 144hz G-Sync monitor. Frames in optimized games such as Overwatch and Alien Isolation run fine, with over 144 frames per second. But games like GTA V and Ark Survival Evolved run badly, with GTA V at 60fps in cities at ultra, and Ark with an astounding 14 frames per second! After forcing the GPU fan to run more than 50%, my temperatures dropped from 87c to 65c on heavy load. I also have a double fan liquid cooler on my CPU. For my motherboard, I have the X99 Taichi. I have 32 GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM. There seems to be minimal dust in my case. I just have no idea that with a 4000 dollar setup I get lower frames than i expected. In case anyone cares, I turn V-Sync off on all games and have an HDMI cable connecting a 5.1 Surround sound speakers. When first I built the PC, everything ran great!

or:Bloatware maybe?(Slows down your computer) Happened to my computer where everything just lagged a lot. Look for any applications installed on your computer that you don't need and get rid of them?
