Xo4 turtle beach headset makes static noises when I barely move the plug. Is it the controller?

When I am doing something I will accidently hit the plug with my hand and it will make a static noise IDK if I should get a new controller cause this

When I am doing something I will accidently hit the plug with my hand and it will make a static noise IDK if I should get a new controller cause this never happened before but if I use it in my phone and move it,it doesn't make the noise.

or:Make sure it's plugged in all the way. If the noise lasts only a second or two then don't bother getting a new controller, just avoid hitting the plug. If it lasts for a few minutes after you touch it then maybe you should have your controller looked at by an expert.
