In accordance with current CDC and Virginia Department of Health guidelines, all patients, visitors and staff members must continue to wear a maskin healthcare settings. This policy ensures that we can continue to protect both our unvaccinated and immunocompromised patients.The following changes and protocols remain in place:Patient appointments will continue to be spaced out to reduce the number of individuals in the office at one time and allow for more thorough cleaning and disinfection of the treatment areas between patients.We ask that all adult patients over the age 18 please present to the visit unaccompanied to reduce the number of visitors seated in the waiting area. Patients under the age of 18 will be allowed one adult companion in the treatment area. Did you know that Dr. Heather Snyder is the Medical Director for the Charlottesville Ballet? She is a current member of the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science and has been specifically trained to perform pre-pointe assessments. Dr. Snyder will assess postural stability, strength, flexibility and perform a radiologic assessment of your dancer to determine if she can safely dance on pointe.
