Based in London, he works nationally and internationally.He embarked on a performance career in 2006,under the tutorship of Stéphanie Clérissi and Christiane Samuel at the Lycée Bristol in Cannes.In 2010, he graduated from Trinity Laban in London, where he performed works by Rosemary Butcher, Charles Linehan and Rosalind Crisp.The conservatoire selected Andrew's piece Quasi as a candidate for the Neu/Now Festival 2010, organised by the European League of Institutes of the Arts (ELIA). It was the first time TrinityLaban was selected by ELIA to showcase the arts education institutions from the United Kingdom. Andrew continued touring his own work Quasi and In One Breath in the UK and France.In 2012, he collaborated with the artist Adam James on site-specific and film projects. Together, they were awarded the Gill Clarke PAL-LAB grant to engage in a year long research project, Vloism.Andrew has choreographed film works for artists such as Sam Lee and Andrew Steggall.In 2011, he was invited by Aurélia Thiérrée and Victoria Chaplin to perform in their theatre-circus production Murmurs.Andrew pursued his interest in conceptually driven work by performing with artists such as Xavier Leroy, Marten Spangberg, Simone Forti, Mike Kelley,Jan Fabre/Troubleyn Masterclass,Josiah McElheny and Tino Seghal.From 2013 until 2016, Andrew was a dancer at Candoco Dance Company, where he performed internationally, pieces by Trisha Brown, Emanuel Gat, Rachid Ouramdane, Hetain Patel, Alexander Whitley,Thomas Hauert and Jerome Bel.In 2013, 'Independent Dance' appointed Andrew on their advisory board, which became a board of directors in 2016.Currently, Andrew is performing with H2dance and leading discussions on diversity.He continues to work as an inclusive dance teacher, a Candoco-artist and a choreographer. @ Andrew Graham - May 2020
