After a stint with CNN.com in Atlanta, Terry served as Art Director/Digital Graphics Designer for a full-service advertising agency working on projects in a variety of media. Terry left that position in 1999 to found atCommunications.Terry also received his bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of Illinois. As an undergraduate, Terry earned All-America and Academic All-America honors as the starting goalie for the Fighting Illini’s nationally-ranked ice hockey team. Terry played professionally for the minor league Danville Pounders in the Class ‘A’ North Eastern Hockey League and the semi-pro Vernon Hills Capitals in the Great Lakes Hockey League. He is a USA Hockey-certified professional ice hockey coach, and now coaches his two young sons’ youth baseball and travel hockey teams.In addition, Terry co-founded and served on the Board of Directors of The OurHealth Network until he and his partners sold it to a private equity firm in December 2011.
