The brand highlights the chair’s history of being the first mass produced chair for hospitality, as well as, reflecting the chair’s physical features and its ability to be bent, stacked and multiplied.Through Thonet’s history multiple iconic designers, architects and furniture makers contributed to different versions of the bent wood chair. Their names and designs are etched into brass plaques and laid into the floor at different locations throughout the cafe, creating a wayfinding tool and provoking a sense of discovery. Project completed while at Pop & Pac.(02)HAZEL MILKWeb design & development/Launch campaign/Art directionProject Sumary:Hazel is a delightful mix of style and substance. She’s the odd one out in a room full of familiar faces. She’s a little bit different, but by no means peculiar. Her creative flair is balanced by a softness that must be experienced to be fully appreciated. She’s full of substance; charming and sassy with a touch of cheek.Through Thonet’s history multiple iconic designers, architects and furniture makers contributed to different versions of the bent wood chair. Mitchelton captures the flavours and culture of the Nagambie region and boasts a boutique hotel, chocolate factory, restaurant, cellar door and Aboriginal art gallery. When engaged to provide an identity and wayfinding system for the new hotel, it became clear that the site and its various offerings were disjointed and all operated under separate brands. To combat this and to create a uniform, seamless experience for the visitor, an over-arching brand structure and identity was formed and applied over all facets of the complex, creating a cohesive brand and experience. Project completed while at Pop & Pac.(04)MOVE—INEnvironmental designProject Sumary:Move–In is a business that supplies curated ready–made furniture packages so that the customer can move into their new apartment or home hassle free. When relocating the concept store to Collingwood, Move–In needed to activate their new space and create a sense of place for people passing by.Restricted to only using ready-made materials, fluorescent tubes were placed at different locations throughout the store helping to create a sense of journey as you venture off the street and navigate your way through the showroom. The lighting design also strives to promote a sense of discovery as every step gives you a different perspective and angle from the one before.Project completed while at Pop & Pac.(05)BRAMBLE & HEDGEWeb design & development/Art direction/Launch campaignProject Sumary:Heavenly by nature and an embodiment of handcrafted elegance. Bramble and Hedge is a melbourne born confectionery company that focuses on supplying goods with heavenly wonder. The website and campaign was designed to encourage curiosity within the customer and create a sense of discovery as they moved through the site. Each nougat is represented by its own marque and only reveals its beauty once the user has chosen it. Once selected, each nougat is elevated on plinths as if dropped from the heavens and positions itself as a piece of art, as something to behold.Project completed while at Pop & Pac.
