The workshop will be a hybrid event, online for international participants and on-site for Chinese attendants, offering worldwide perspective and participation. International participants will of course be most welcome on-site in Shanghai in September if the travel conditions linked with the Covid pandemic evolve. The workshop will provide the opportunity to hear new research, ideas and initiatives; and interact with key decision leaders in the power distribution field. Submissions are open! CIRED workshops on specific topics are organized every two years between CIRED main conferences. Originally foreseen in October 2020, one workshop will be organised outside Europe for the first time in CIRED history.
