Description
The Climate Justice Resilience Fund helps women, youth, and indigenous peoples adapt to climate change and build resilience by implementing and scaling sustainable climate solutions. The CJRF supports “bottom-up,” frontline community-led approaches in the Bay of Bengal (India, Bangladesh), East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania), and the Arctic. CJRF grants focus on four issue areas where climate change is likely to heighten existing injustices: water access, livelihood sustainability, food security and food sovereignty, and migration and relocation.

The communities hit first are the first to respond and the first to adapt. To survive and thrive on a warming planet they need voice, power, and the opportunity to innovate. Our grants help these communities create and share their own solutions for resilience, driving transformational change from the grassroots to the global level. Are you a funder? We’d love to discuss how climate action can tackle intertwined injustices like poverty and discrimination, building a world where everyone can thrive. Connect with us.
