She aims to improve experiences whether it is through design, code, or leadership. Currently, Bethany is a Cloud Advocate at Microsoft. Formerly, she was a Program Coordinator at Andela. "Inclusive Web Development" Clifford Ouma Clifford Ouma is an undergrad student at Moi University in Kenya. He is a front-end web developer and a User Experience designer in training. Clifford is a self-described introvert and strives to show empathy and understanding in everything he does. He is a champion for tech communities and enjoys taking part in community-building to foster connection, learning, and growth — both in terms of skills and growth in network and experience. "Next-Gen Inclusivity: How Gen Z Can Make Real Change in Tech" Haimantika Mitra Haimantika Mitra is a Developer Relations Engineer at Appwrite. She is a community builder and a product of the community herself. She believes that technology is for everyone and is heavily involved in learning, sharing, and building with the community. So far, she has helped over 1000 students in the BAME community with mentoring and improving their technical skills. Being a huge advocate of women in tech, she has helped women early in their careers find a way to tech. "Accessibility is Not a Mystery" Laurel Younis Laurel Younis is your inclusive software engineer & tech leader delivering high energy talks that challenge the audience to leverage their focus and pay attention to what matters most at work & in life. She brings practical strategy to the audience, enabling them to easily implement the techniques and advice given into their personal projects and professional lives. Younis’s background in software development, business consulting, and entrepreneurship enables her to connect with all audiences. "Women and tech: Why representation matters" Pachi Pachi is your friendly developer relations person. After nannying for years, she started learning to code while building meaningful connections within the dev community. A native Brazilian, Pachi infuses her experience as an immigrant woman in tech into her work. Her goal is to create newbie-friendly content to help make tech should be accessible to all. When she's not live coding on Twitch, Pachi watches anime, reads too many romance novels, and complains about Patriarchy on Twitter. Derek encourages developers to write clean, testable code. When not in front of a computer he spends time with family, travels, makes pizza, and drinks beer. "Celibrate you're misteaks" Joe Glombek Joe Glombek is a senior .NET web developer who's been working with various British digital agencies for the past decade and is an Umbraco MVP. In the 5-to-9, he is an adventure-loving outdoorsman and can often be seen out hiking or canoeing with his dog, Carter. "A Programmer's Guide to Mental Health" Raymond Chung Often mistaken as an intern, Raymond Chung is building a new generation of software developers through Shopify's Dev Degree program. As a Technical Educator, his passion for computer science and education allows him to create bite-sized content that engages interns throughout their day-to-day. When he is not teaching, you'll find Raymond exploring for the best bubble tea shop. "I Think, Therefore I Code: An Introduction to Pseudocode" Silvia España Gil Silvia España Gil is a former marketer who found her way to frontend software development and, eventually, iOS mobile software development. In pseudocode, she found a way to solve coding problems without a single line of code. Her talk is a reminder that we can solve problems and later on, actually code them. "Redefining Your Programming Purpose" Tracy P Holmes A "Jackie of All Trades" (and mistress of being herself), Tracy is a Developer Advocate at Codefresh where she focuses on sharing her love of Anxiety Driven Development, and GitOps. When she isn't leveling up her programming skills, she likes baking, hanging with her pup, and learning something new to help her along her career journey. Tracy is active in the open source community and believes that open source is like gardening — pay attention to your conditions, and water only when needed. He's spent the last ten years being directly involved with small businesses and startups getting their apps off the ground or back in shape!His main motivation is community. He's not only actively worked software builders both new and experienced, but also dedicated a time to organising conferences, workshops and other events aimed at helping empower folks in their tech journey. "How I Tracked My Pregnancy with Python & Emojis" Hannah Hazi Hannah Hazi is a software engineer based in Cambridge, UK. She originally wanted to become a civil engineer but fell in love with Python after exploring 3D printing and never looked back. Hanna currently works at Anvil as a Developer Advocate, helping people build web apps with nothing but Python. In her spare time, she loves playing with Raspberry Pi and making art. While there, her Creative Director warned her to never let anyone find out she could code because she'd be stuck doing it forever. Kathryn ignored this and it turns out he was 100% right — but she's never been happier. She currently works as a dev advocate where she helps people build web apps in React, design/maintain component libraries, and stop back-end devs from writing CSS. "A Primer on Open Source Licensing" Shubhendra Singh Chauhan Shubhendra Singh Chauhan is a Developer Advocate at ToolJet.
