The latter tends to focus on liquidity provision, community building and user growth.Do you accept anonymous teams?Yes. Anon teams are also welcome to apply. We've accepted multiple such teams in the past, including OlympusDAO and Sushi.When should I apply?We run 3 cohorts a year and announce applications at least a month in advance.But we encourage you to submit your application as early as possible. Since most teams apply close to the deadline, applying early gives us more time to review your application.How much does the program cost?Nothing. The acceleration program is 100% free. Unlike other accelerators, we do not force investment or equity allocation.Founders' only obligation is to ensure they have the time and energy to attend sessions and work with mentors. We expect full commitment during the program's 9 weeks.I don't understand how the program can be free. What's the catch?There's no catch.We are a team of crypto veterans who want to give back to the community. Our goals are (1) to sprout innovation in Web 3 and (2) build the most founder-friendly network within the space.Does the program provide funding?The program is free and does not require any investment.However, we do offer optional investment for companies looking for funding. Our default deal is $200k at a $5M valuation (4%) for early stage companies.For later stage companies, terms can vary.Is the program remote?Yes. The program is entirely remote. We may host in-person events as the pandemic subsides but sessions and mentorship will continue online.Do I need to be in a specific location to apply?No. Alliance startups have historically come from all over the world.Our sessions are typically 11 am Eastern to best serve global participants.‍If timing is a concern, we've got you covered. Recordings are available after each session. And your mentor will work with you to find convenient times for 1-on-1's.How long is the program?The program lasts 9 weeks. Teams must dedicate at least 8 hours per week between sessions and mentorship.What are my chances of being selected?We currently have ~1% acceptance rate. To maximize your chances, we recommend getting a referral from an Alliance alum or network member.Founders are sometimes selected on their 2nd or 3rd application so we encourage you to apply again if you're not selected. We often make mistakes. Plus, resilience is a key trait we're screening for!How is the program structured?The program relies on 4 activities: sessions, 1:1 mentorship, group mentorship and demo day.Educational Sessions: We run multiple sessions per week with leading Web3 experts. Details below.1:1 Mentorship: Startups receive 1:1 mentorship from Alliance partners and our extended network.Group Mentorship: Founders meet weekly to share progress and challenges. Founders help each other identify solutions to blockers with support from Alliance partners.Demo Day: 6 weeks into the program companies start working on their demo day presentations.
