With much regret, the DevDay Da Nang 2020 will not take place as planned due to the following causes: The coronavirus and the infection it causes—the COVID-19—have had unpredictable patterns and are still taking unnerving turns. For that reason, another social-distancing order mandated by the Vietnamese government is possibly in sight, making it difficult for participants to join the event without taking any serious health risks. Restrictions on international flights from and to Vietnam are yet to be lifted, which makes it challenging, to a great extent, for overseas experts, key-note speakers, and corporate leaders to travel to the event. Da Nang University of Technology (our co-organizers and also DevDay Da Nang venue host), has their school calendar changed and adapted to the situation post social-distancing enforcement, and is running short of labors and facilities required by the event. Nevertheless, we sincerely hope to receive your continual trust and companionship for the DevDay Da Nang 2021 with disruptive breakthroughs and unprecedented successes.
