No computer science or engineering background required! I’ve designed educational activities that your child can do with your help anywhere anytime. My dream is to unlock your child’s technology building and innovation potential and help them prepare for the future. And all that while your child has an hour or two to kill at home, on the plane, or during a school break ?Want to join in?Yes! I want to join in and get started!What parents are saying“I’ve been wanting to teach her how to program for so long. Thank you for making it so easy!”– Erik R., real estate manager and father of 9-year old Maya“We found the activities creative and fun. Alona enjoyed the fortune telling activity the most because she could bring her own ideas and personality.”– Veronica, stay-at-home mom, mother of 7-year-old Alona“Isabel had a lot of fun. It was a privilege to learn from you.”– Fiona E., school teacher and mother of 7-year-old Isabel“There are so many programming books and robot kits out there. It’s intimidating. Thank you for showing me how to start.”– Juan S., doctor and father of 8-year old Luca“We both learned a lot!!! Sara enjoyed the games!”– Silvia K., tourism business owner and mother of 7-year-old Sara“This is awesome stuff!”– Guillermo G., animator and father of 7-year old Estella“The really awesome part is that there’s an element of fun, e.g. controlling your parent, to the whole thing that adds to the experience.”– Lucas N., programmer and DrTechniko follower“Your work has been a big inspiration for my teaching.”– Aidan F., programmer and teacher in NYCDrTechniko was founded by Nikos Michalakis. Nikos has degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.He has done research and built products in cloud computing, fault-tolerant systems, online advertising, education technology, big data, autonomous vehicles and robotics in companies like Knewton, Netflix and Toyota Research Institute. He has written code, designed processes, led teams and mentored software engineers and students for more than fifteen years in Silicon Alley and Silicon Valley. He has helped build, funded and advised tech start-ups. This cross-pollination across academia, industry, company sizes and points of view has given him a great deal of experience on how innovative ideas turn into technology through complex software systems, teamwork and best practices and deployed to the world.Nikos believes all this advanced knowledge that is only available to PhDs, MBAs and CEOs can be taught to kids at a very young age. He started DrTechniko in 2010 to make that goal a reality through stories, games and classes that can be done with pen, paper, random stuff at home, physical activities and … sometimes with computers. His “How To Train Your Robot” game became such a popular way to get kids started with programming around the world without the need of a computer that it landed him an article in Hacker Monthly and a TEDx talk. The biggest reward however has been the kids’ look of inspiration and empowerment when they learn all this advanced stuff before their parents do.Free ContentOnline CoursesCoaching &WorkshopsFooter@media (min-width:300px){:not(#tve) [data-css="tve-u-15ecaf0c3d4"]{color:rgb(255,255,255) !important;}:not(#tve) [data-css="tve-u-15ecaf0c3cb"]{color:rgb(255,255,255) !important;}:not(#tve) [data-css="tve-u-15ecaf0c3c3"]{color:rgb(255,255,255) !important;}:not(#tve) [data-css="tve-u-15ecaf0c3b8"]{color:rgb(255,255,255) !important;}:not(#tve) [data-css="tve-u-15ecaf0c3b7"]{color:rgb(255,255,255) !important;}[data-css="tve-u-15ebbbcdfa6"]::after{clear:both;}:not(#tve) [data-css="tve-u-15ea279eafb"]{font-size:30px !important;color:rgb(255,255,255) !important;}:not(#tve) [data-css="tve-u-15e7375ab11"]:hover button{color:rgb(255,255,255);border:none;background-color:rgb(0,0,0) !important;}[data-css="tve-u-15e73b07506"]{max-width:80%;padding:1px 20px !important;margin:0px auto !important;}[data-css="tve-u-15e7396faa8"]{max-width:60%;}[data-css="tve-u-15e7396fa9a"]{max-width:40%;}[data-css="tve-u-15e7396c9b8"]{width:200px;float:right;z-index:3;position:relative;margin-left:auto !important;margin-right:auto !important;}:not(#tve) [data-css="tve-u-15e7375ab11"] button{color:rgb(0,0,0);background-color:rgb(251,181,0) !important;background-image:none !important;}:not(#tve) [data-css="tve-u-15e7374088f"] input{padding-right:10px;text-align:left;padding-left:15px !important;}:not(#tve) [data-css="tve-u-15e737310d8"] input{padding-right:10px;text-align:left;padding-left:15px !important;}[data-css="tve-u-15e736e34c1"]{background-color:rgb(31,156,223) !important;margin:0px !important;padding:0px 30px !important;}}@media (max-width:767px){[data-css="tve-u-15e7396c9b8"]{float:none;position:relative;width:120px;z-index:3;margin-left:auto !important;margin-right:auto !important;margin-top:0px !important;}}.tve-leads-conversion-object .thrv_heading h1,.tve-leads-conversion-object .thrv_heading h2,.tve-leads-conversion-object .thrv_heading h3{margin:0;padding:0}.tve-leads-conversion-object .thrv_text_element p,.tve-leads-conversion-object .thrv_text_element h1,.tve-leads-conversion-object .thrv_text_element h2,.tve-leads-conversion-object .thrv_text_element h3{margin:0}Train Young Innovators Anywhere Anytime!Join the DrTechniko mailing list to receive:The free "How to Raise Young Technology Creators" e-bookTips and product reviews vetted by DrTechnikoOffers for DrTechniko's Online Courses...and moreFacebookPinterestTwitterCopyright ©2022 DrTechniko · All Rights Reserved · Contact DrTechniko #simple-social-icons-2 ul li a, #simple-social-icons-2 ul li a:hover, #simple-social-icons-2 ul li a:focus { background-color: #1f9cdf !important;
