However this could not be further from the truth, the desert is filled with all sorts of beauty if you know where to look. In order to preserve this beauty, Dust Wind Tales uses the process of pressing the flowers so that they can be enjoyed for years to come. The flowers are delicately pressed onto a piece of carefully selected hand carved wood that contrasts wonderfully with the beautiful colors of the flowers.We also come across a lot of bones in the desert that can also be turned into beautiful pieces of the art. The dust and the wind in the desert erodes and shapes each bone differently, and because each bone is unique in its shape and size, each painted piece is a unique and beautiful piece of artwork. Whether you are looking for a painted antler as a table centerpiece or a small item you can wear as jewelry, we have an option for you. And of course no animals are ever harmed by us in order to create our art.We also use the process of smoothing stones to create beautiful rock designs that our followers adore. Each rock tells its own tale of the desert as it has been impacted by the conditions of the desert differently.
