Late-breaking abstracts must not have been presented, accepted for presentation, or published at any other scientific meeting or journal at the time of submission. This year we have received more than 1,070 abstracts, thank you very much to all the authors. The Scientific Committee have welcomed the submission of abstracts of original contributions to the Congress.Abstracts have been reviewed by the Scientific Committee and may be selected for either oral or poster presentation.Further communication regarding abstracts (i.e. also the information about posters or oral communications) will be sent to the submitted authors at the end of August.The Scientific committee will ask some of the best abstracts chosen as oral communications to be presented live in Athens. The Organizing Secretariat will send accurate information and guidelines to all the authors once the scientific committee will make these decisions.All the accepted abstract will be published in a supplement issue of European Geriatric Medicine. Abstract format – authors and affiliation:Organization should be abbreviated, with capitalization as in title.The submitting author must be inserted again in the list of authors if necessary.The submitting author is responsible also for the correct use of initials and surnames of their co-authors.
