We have been fortunate to stay in a couple of villas in Kamari but this one (one of a pair) is by far the most luxurious. The villas were built only three years ago and are modern, spacious and stylish - with everything you could wish for. Margarita is the perfect host, living on site and available should you need anything but not intruding at all. She even made us cake and Greek delicacies throughout our stay. The villa was absolutely spotless and cleaning is offered free of charge every day, plus a change of towels, etc. if required. The pool area (pretty sure the pool is heated) is amazing and, although shared with the other villa it is plenty big enough for the two vilas. We were fortunate that the other villa wasn't occupied when we were there so we had the whole space to ourselves :-) There is a BBQ which we used and a large table next to the pool to eat outside - as well as the table and chairs on the villa balcony. The wifi is great quality and there is a Netflix account on the TV. There is a large supermarket one minutes walk away and it's about a three minute walk to the beach and promenade with all of the fantastic restaurants and bars. We have visited Santorini a few times in the last couple of years and have decided that Kamari is the best place to stay. Oia is nice for a couple of days (we did 2 nights at Optuntia House in Oia and 5 Nights in Kamari this time). Oia is nice and picturesque but busy, and will be busier once the cruise industry is up and running again. The restaurants in Oia are good but overpriced, especially if you want to watch the sunset (150 Euro for a bottle Moet!) - my tip is to do that once or twice then get to Kamari and relax! We have already booked to go back to Maragarita's perfect villa and cannot wait!"Amazing place, wonderful experience "10The location was excellent, close to shops, restaurants and the beach.
