Föreningen fri kultur och programvara The Society for Free Culture and Software This page in Swedish FFKP creates platforms where engaged actors in the society canmeet and through collaboration and discussions reach agreement onimportant societal questions.We foster a free society, built on free culture and free software,by raising awareness and inform the public.FFKP carries out a range of different projects within free cultureand free software.Our main driver in our work is the need to create and maintain afree and open society built on free culture and free software.Our servicesSince its foundation in 2005, the society has built aninfrastructure of services which we happily provide, both for our ownactivities as well as for activities we carry out for and incollaboration with others. Since 2012, the main activity of thesociety is to provide administrative support to individuals andorganisations working with activities or projects within free cultureand free software. In this is included that we, among otherthings:Setup and maintain bank accounts for individual activities andprojects.Take responsibility for book keeping and audits.Offer storage space, websites, servers and other technicalinfrastructure if needed.Manage incoming payments through bank transfers, paypal orotherwise.Provide credit cards (MasterCard) to simplify payments by projectleads etc.Provide card terminals for managing payments during events.Manage payments, incoming invoices as well as cash (deposits tobank account).Manage salaries, including social security contributions andother reporting.InvoicingWhen relevant, VAT reportingPrevious projectsThe society has carried out a range of different projects andactivities through the years.
