Mission Statement Expert Workshops We initiate annual workshop meetings to foster exchange between academic developers - computer scientists, engineers and natural scientists - about image analysis, visualization, and interaction techniques in image-based diagnostics and therapy, computer-assisted therapy planning and about software tools related thereto. Workshops Awarding ExcellenceWe award excellent contributions in the field of medical and biological visualization. The Karl-Heinz Höhne Award is assigned biennially by a jury of academics and industry representatives. The next competition takes place in spring 2020. Award Workgroup With the background of more than 25 years of experience, the group will continue to promote the propagation of emerging techniques and thus contribute to a vivid exchange of research results and ideas.
