We strive to:promote the science, art and skill of beekeepingtraining, advice and assistance to beekeepersbenefit our community through education and outreachSome members have dozens of hives and have been keeping bees for decades. Others are just getting started and have yet to set up a hive. Some keep bees in rural settings; others are in neighborhoods. Our annual dues are $5.00 for the calendar year. We are grateful for the support and sponsorship that we receive from the staff and agents at Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service -Fort Bend County. Monthly Meetings...When: Second Tuesday of every month (except December)Time: 7:00 pm (7:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Social time - come talk to fellow beekeepers before our monthly program).ATTENTION: Due to the COVID-19 restrictions our meetings are being held via Zoom at this time. If you wish to attend, request the Zoom link at [email protected] at least two hours prior to the meeting's start.Place (when not in COVID-19 mode): Fort Bend County’s “Bud” O’Shieles Community Center, 1330 Band Rd., Rosenberg, Texas.
