All the other schools I contacted didn’t seem to offer what I needed. Dedicated 1/2 day lesson 1 to 1 reaching.Alex was my teacher, and I felt…”STEVEN • MOERS GERMANY, Trip Advisor“My son had an awesome experience. The coaches are all extremely professional, kind, caring, and knowledgeable. Our son got excellent feedback on his skiing and how to improve and he grew hugely in confidence both on and off the piste. We were very impressed by the coaches and by the whole setup. He’s looking forward to training with them again soon. Thank you!”ALAN • ZURICH Switzerland, Trip AdvisorFrequent Asked Questions .panel-group .panel { border-radius: 0; box-shadow: none; border-color: #EEEEEE; } .panel-default > .panel-heading { padding: 0; border-radius: 0; color: #212121; border-color: #EEEEEE; } .panel-title { font-size: 14px; border-bottom: 2px solid #eee; text-indent: -12px; } .more-less { color: #212121; margin-left: 15px; } .panel-title > a { display: block; padding: 15px; text-decoration: none; } .panel-default > .panel-heading + .panel-collapse > .panel-body { border-top-color: #EEEEEE; padding-left: 0; } .title-toogle { font-weight: bolder; color: #000; font-size: 20px; } Do I need Freeride equipment? Off-piste safety equipment is necessary for all our freeride skiing lessons. This consists of an avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe. We highly recommend the use of a backpack with an inflatable air bag system to be even safer. We highly recommend the use of ski touring equipment to all our freeride guests to maximize terrain access Do I need a certain Freeride Level? To enjoy a freeride lesson, you need to be an advanced skier. You don't have to be an experienced off-piste skier, but you have to be comfortable on all slopes of a ski resort. Skiing off-piste will prove itself more challenging than any type of ski slope. Where can I rent equipment? There are multiple ski hire shops in Saas Fee, we recommend Glacier Sport and guests having lessons with us receive a 10% discount on equipment rental. Where will I meet my instructor? If you have booked private lessons our instructors can meet you in a variety of locations in resort such as: Plattjen / Spielboden Gondola station. Alpin Express Gondola station. Kalbermatten - Beginner slopes (Lift ticket office). For our intermediate and advanced skiers we can also meet up on the slopes at the Morenia Restaurant. Children’s group lessons will meet at the Plattjen / Spielboden Gondola station on Monday mornings. Please confirm your meeting point with the office when booking. What language are lessons taught in? Our children’s group lessons are all taught in English. Private lessons can be booked in English, German, French, Dutch and Spanish subject to availability. Security Protocols We always check that all safety equipment is working perfectly. Skis, bindings, ski touring skins and boots must be checked by the guest prior to the freeride lesson.
