Since then, the hotel has been further developed and expanded by the Traubel family. Sustainability has played a major role for the family from the very beginning. Today, the hotel is run in the second and third generation by senior chef Karl Traubel and his wife Christa, as well as junior chef Marc Traubel and his wife Sabrina.“Come up to calm down” is the motto that can be felt in every corner of the hotel. Because high up in the mountains, many perspectives shift. The mountains also require the Traubel family to change their viewpoint again and again in order to find new solutions. This was also the case in 2019 when an avalanche destroyed parts of the hotel. Thanks to the energetic support of many helpers on site, the hotel was able to restart just three months later.
