But let me take you back further. After graduating from college with an architecture’s degree, I worked in a large office for almost 10 years. Although I was making a great living, the desire to create & be my own boss never left me. In late 2008, I picked up a camera and started taking photos of my daughters. I uploaded my photos to flickr (remember that??), and eventually put my work on Facebook and created a website. In 2009, Jeremy Chou Photography was officially born. To date, I’ve personally documented over 300 weddings and traveled extensively throughout the world for weddings and editorial commissions. The next chapter of my career is to share what I have learned with the next generation of photographers. I get it, it can be very intimating to be in a group of strangers while trying to learn. That’s why my workshops are kept small enough to allow personal attention for each attendee. Most importantly, the workshop is a judgement-free zone. My goal is for attendees to feel they are hanging out with a group of old friends, while learning some new skills for their business.
