In 2010, I adopted a fully plant-based diet. It forced me to get in the kitchen and learn how to turn plants into tasty meals. I discovered I loved to cook, & all of the plant foods made me feel better than ever!Once I graduated school, I dove deeper into this newfound love for good food. I apprenticed on small-scale organic farms where I became the unofficial snack provider. After a long day in the fields, I would take all the ‘ugly produce’ that wasn’t going to make it to the market, and turn it into yummy treats for my fellow farmers and friends. These experiences showed me where I really needed to be: cooking professionally.I found a plant-based culinary school in Austin, TX and immersed myself in healing philosophies and culinary techniques. Cooking for others felt like my true calling and I have been doing it ever since. My career has brought me to places like New Zealand, St. Barth’s, Thailand, Portugal, The UK, Milan, China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong! These days I am based in Luxembourg where I run a virtual design business called Waterdrop Studio.
