Welcome To The Kiwanis Club of La JollaThe Kiwanis Club of La Jolla is a part of Kiwanis International, a global organization of members dedicated to serving the children of the world. Kiwanis and its family of clubs (nearly 600,000 members strong) annually raise more than $100 million dollars and dedicate more than 18 million volunteer hours to strengthen communities and serve children. The Kiwanis Club of La Jolla raises approximately $200,000. Donations Let us help you to spread your charitable contribution, as we partner with over thirty 501(c)(3) non-profit charities to put the money into the hands that need it. Donate Now Membership We are always looking for new members! We meet regularly on Friday’s for lunch at Chateau La Jolla or The La Jolla Community Center. Join Us Get Help We are always adding to our list of grant recipients which include Young Children Priority One, Youth Services, Community Services and International. Ask For Help Annual Fundraising Events How We Help Our Community The Kiwanis Club of La Jolla raises approximately $200,000 through the annual La Jolla Half Marathon and 5K race. This money is distributed through Grants to dozens of charitable organizations throughout San Diego and beyond. In addition, The La Jolla Club host additional community events including the annual the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, the La Jolla Kiwanis Cove Swim, the La Jolla Kiwanis Concerts by the Sea and The Moon Mullens Junior Olympics. I joined with the thought of giving back to the community, and I have been deeply rewarded many times over with the honor of helping to make the lives of others better. And a substantial fringe benefit is meeting many other wonderful civic minded fellow Kiwanis members who share the same goal of helping others through service to the community.
