How is Loaded Dubia Roaches different?Loaded Dubia Roaches was born out of a need to know and control what our pets were consuming.  The day we unpacked an order of dubia roaches from one of the larger online insect retailers to find a handful of leftover fast food french fries sparked an obsession with all things dubia. We began experimenting with every variable and soon found that dubia roaches preferred a different average temperature as well as different staple foods at nearly every stage in their life cycles. It became obvious just how sensitive dubia roaches are as each change produced a notable effect.  The smallest details had an impact on everything from growth and the rate of reproduction to energy level and appearance.  After much trial and error we found ourselves advancing to the point of using digital electronic environmental controls to fully automate the climate of every roach enclosure.  Temperature, humidity, air flow and light exposure were all tightly regulated at all times.  It took hard work and meticulous cleaning to keep the colonies healthy and productive. Maintaining a balance between meeting the needs of the roaches without disturbing them too much or too often had proven very difficult and at times frustrating.  Throughout all of our experimentation and years of growth, every suitable and available organic food source was offered and the effects were monitored and recorded.  We discovered that offering a wide variety of organic foods and a few regular staples at each key point in the roaches life cycle were the final pieces of the puzzle that we had been working to solve.  Almost immediately with all of the right conditions met and the optimal nutrition plan in place we found ourselves producing the biggest, fastest, most energetic and vibrantly colored roaches we had ever seen.  Gone were the days of unboxing small, lethargic, dull and dry roaches that appeared near death.  Now our roaches were quick and hard to catch when given room to run.  They were also moist to the touch from optimal hydration.  Our efforts had produced the feeders that our pets deserved.  These dubia roaches were loaded with all of the nutrients that we wanted our reptiles to have.  Our lizards loved them and so will yours!
