Prior to that he held positions at Julep Cup and Portofino. His hands-on leadership approach and playful, exploratory culinary style are evident in the new Lockbox experience. Rita Kraynak Food & Beverage Director A Philadelphia native, Rita moved to Lexington in 2016. She has a natural instinct for the service industry and immediately found comfort in the local restaurant scene. After several years managing Coles 735 Main and its sister restaurant Epping’s on Eastside, Rita is invigorated to bring her charm to Lockbox.“There’s something about a belly full of food, big smiles, and the sound of your friends and family laughing endlessly. We’re in the business of fun and the combination of a perfect meal, great relationships, and your favorite beverage is my quintessential night out and what I strive to bring every guest I meet.” Jake Parry Cocktail Curator Born and raised in Baltimore, Jake moved to Lexington in 2020 to continue his education at the University of Kentucky. While in Baltimore, he worked closely with incredible mentors and colleagues for the NoHo Hospitality Group since 2018. There, he fell in love with the craft beverage industry, from eclectic and classic cocktails to the many local breweries and distilleries. He strives to make beautiful libations as he loves to make bar guests smile and gain an experience through a cocktail.Upon graduation, Jake plans to further his career in the beverage industry by stepping into the production side of distilling. He hopes to own and operate his own small distillery well down the road with a focus on experimental gin, rye, and amaro.
