I enjoyed it the first time, so I decided to come back again this summer.First time arriving in Shanghai I was a little anxious but it all went fine, this time I was much more confident and I had no anxiety at all.I was looking forward to come back.Last year I stayed at a crazy good homestay, right around the Bund. This year I wanted more freedom and to be more independent so I opted for a large room shared apartment. I was a nice, large, bright room.There was air conditioning in all of the rooms which was nice as it was a very hot summer. The area around was nice as well, lots of shops and restaurants.Classes and teachers were both good, different subjects with different teachers, speaking and writing. Personally I enjoyed speaking more than writing.The group class was challenging, but in a good way. The people in my class were slightly higher level than me so that pushed me to do better.We were five people in my group which I found perfect I like learning in a group.I loved Shanghai, and the social events arranged by the school.Despite the distances being larger than what I’m used from Copenhagen, it’s still convenient to get around, and the shopping, dining and nightlife are great here.Obviously the classes and teachers were great, but the social activities also played a large part in me coming back this year.CloseAaronIrelandI came to LTL Shanghai to study Chinese in small group and individual classes.
