We take your vacation seriously! Scenic natural beauty on Hathaway Lake in the South Cariboo, British Columbia. We have repeatedly been told that we have one of the most beautiful (and quiet) campground people have ever visited. You’ll want to come back again and again! We are an LGBTQ2 community-friendly campground. Our bathrooms are Uni-Sex. We have built a campground community around shared values of diversity, equity, optimism, and personal security. We welcome everyone and expect our guests to be respectful of each other. We are a NO DOG campground. We love dogs but our guests keep telling us that they do not like camping beside them. We do allow well-behaved service dogs. We have foxes that play and deer that take refuge on our grounds and that takes precedent over your wish to bring your furry family member here. If you believe your service dog will chase our visiting wildlife, then this is not going to be a good fit for them. For current events, including how Covid-19 is affecting the 2022 season, click here NEW for 2022: We have realized that we do not have enough Cabins to allow everyone to visit, that would like to. This year we have bought a 2013 keystone hideout 31RBDS to rent out as a cabin. (Happily, named the Hathaway Hideout) We are hoping that this will allow more people the ability to stay with us, as well giving the opportunity to spend the night in a beautiful trailer, close to the water. This trailer can sleep up to 6, has a queen size bed up front and 2 bunk beds and a futon in the back. It comes stocked with dishes as the cabins do, bottom sheet on the beds and is $150 per night based on 4 people. It is in its own RV site, across from RV Site #30 with a firepit, BBQ and picnic table. Look for its availability on our Webpage under Cabin 7 Keystone RV. Photos can be found on our Facebook page (link below). We will post better photos as they come available.  For recent photos please see our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/MoosehavenResort/Click here to see what is new for 2022, ( and what will be new for 2023 ) including rate increases, guideline changes, or items of interest to upcoming / returning guests. Quiet, natural setting on small calm lake (5 km long, 140 ft depth)clean, lakefront cabins (4 with full bathrooms), fully equipped kitchens, comfy beds, hot water, gas barbecues with free propane35 spacious, fully serviced lake view RV sitesfresh air, fishing, paddling or just dreamingwell maintained lawns2 playgrounds. 1 for toddlers, treed with sandbox and toys; a separate playground for bigger kids with a log pirate ship and climbable tire beast.Large grassy area for bocce, lawn bowling, horseshoes or ???Public beach access for RV sites, between Cabin 2 and Cabin 1, dock with slide to enhance your swimming experience.heated, clean, central washroom building with free showerslaundry facilities $3 wash & $3 drySUPERB FREE WI-FI    for Wi-Fi information, click herenature trails from propertygreat area known for small lake fishingmotor boat, kayak, SUP, canoe, rowboat and pedal boat rentalsboat launch and fishing tackle soldeasy access on paved roads; 5 1/2 hour drive from Vancouver, 2 hours from Kamloops**Our water is drawn from the lake. We have a 1 minute boil advisory on all water on site which comes from a tap of any sort, to ensure it is safe for drinking.SORRY, no dogs* (indoor RV cats are permitted), so we can continue to share the resort property with the abundant wildlife and birds in the area.*Certified guide or assistance dogs are permitted. Please include a copy of the proper paperwork with your reservation request. A vest bought at Walmart, doesn’t qualify. We will also look at individual requests to allow dogs in your own RV, that don’t bark. Ie, a teacup pom that only squeaks now n then. Or an old hound that sleeps all day and doesn’t care if a deer or fox walks by. Anyone asking for this exception to our rule, will have to accept that if the dog barks or whines and irritates other guests, you will be asked to leave and be expected to pay for the entirety of your stay. This also applies to certified assistance dogs. If they are ill mannered or behave badly, you will have to leave. Our existing guests have made it very clear to us, they do not wish to camp with other people’s dogs.
