(Please click here to read the HSE Guidelines)You will be triaged when booking your appointment and pre-payment will be taken if possible.Once your appointment is confirmed you should download and print out a copy of our Medical Health questionnaire which is available here (.pdf)You should complete the Health questionnaire and bring it with you to your appointment. Please also bring a pen with you as you may be required to fill in paperwork.Do not bring unnecessary items (extra clothes or bags etc) with you into the clinic. Do not bring visitors unless it is neccessary (one parent for children, or a translator/assistant). Place your keys, phones etc in a plastic zip lock bag. You will be asked to use the provided hand sanitiser and your temperature will be taken.There is no facility to brush your teeth - Please brush before you leave home. Your appointment with the dentist will be a little different due to the extra protective equipment (masks and visors) and social distancing (e.g. no hand shaking).Your dentist and assistant will have the appropriate PPE (including FFP2 masks) and the clinic will have been thoroughly ventilated and disinfected before and after your appointment.We are providing hydrogen peroxide pre-procedural mouth rinse for all patients.The Building has a state of the art air-purification system.We have added Ecolox cleaning technology to our practice. This is a powerful, safe and environmentally friendly method of deep cleaning and disinfection.We always use the highest standard of PPE (personal protective equipment).We will use a dental rubber dam if and where possible.We will aim to have your treatment carried out in as few visits as possible to minimise contacts.These measures are in place to ensure everyone's safety.Thank you for your continued support. Dr Lavin called to my father's home and personally brought him to the hospital for treatment, waiting with him until a family member arrived. When he bleeding began again the following day, I contacted Dr Lavin's Surgery where Dr Lavin arranged for my father to be seen at the Dental Hospital immediately, even though it was her day off. The level of care she showed my father was unprecedented; I couldn't believe she attended his home- which is quit a distance- and cared enough to personally take him to the hospital.
