Farm Bill Survey Jun 30, 2022 NESAWG is assessing how we can best support regional Farm Bill policy coordination across our region. To that end, we have created a policy survey for organizations working within NESAWG’s geographic region to collect information on policy priorities, needs, and relationships that we can leverage for greater alignment during the 2023 Farm Bill cycle. Interview with a Narragansett Tribal Elder, Bella Noka Jun 30, 2022 On April 2022, Lakota Chief Arvol Looking Horse issued a call to all peoples and all faiths around the globe to come in unity for the protection and healing of Mother Earth. Narragansett Indian Tribal Elders, in partnership with Native Green, echoed that call and held a sunrise and a sunset ceremony by the Ocean on January 21st on unceded territory in what is now known as the state of Rhode Island.
