In an effort to better serve the residents of New London, we will be transitioning to on-line burn permits only. With an increasing volume of calls at the New London Dispatch Center, located at 25 Seamans Road, they will no longer be issuing permits at that location. You can acquire a permit at the Division of Forest & Lands web site, which is https://nhdflweb.sovsportsnet.net/ However, please call NL Dispatch to notify them at 526-2627, to let them know that you’ll be burning.SEASONAL PERMITSFor those with seasonal permits, please email your request for renewal to [email protected] and we will mail your updated permits within two days (48 hours).Please provide:First and last nameAddressType of permit (same as last year – seasonal or brush)Phone number where you can be reachedEmail addressWith a lack of snow, and before vegetation greens up, we caution those who are wanting to burn, and therefore we will limit the days that one can kindle a fire this time of year.If you have any questions, please call (603) 526-6073 and thanks for understanding.Thanks for your assistance, Fire Chief Jay LyonA.
