Obama IpsumThe most presidential lorem ipsum in history.Tonight, we gather to affirm the greatness of our nation - not because of the height of our skyscrapers, or the power of our military, or the size of our economy. That we can say what we think, write what we think, without hearing a sudden knock on the door. At various stages in the campaign, some commentators have deemed me either "too black" or "not black enough." We saw racial tensions bubble to the surface during the week before the South Carolina primary. Because that was the cheapest way to eat. The truth is, on issue after issue that would make a difference in your lives - on health care and education and the economy - Senator McCain has been anything but independent. That is why we will honor our agreement with Iraq's democratically-elected government to remove combat troops from Iraqi cities by July, and to remove all our troops from Iraq by 2012. But Moses says: What I am commanding you is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach. Did I ever hear him make remarks that could be considered controversial while I sat in church? Yes. We want to talk about how to bring them home from a war that never should've been authorized and never should've been waged, and we want to talk about how we'll show our patriotism by caring for them, and their families, and giving them the benefits they have earned. That's why I stand here tonight. We are the party of Roosevelt. Because one of the things that we have to change in our politics is the idea that people cannot disagree without challenging each other's character and patriotism. Not with so much work to be done. And I am hopeful that all countries in the region can share in this goal. Thank you very much everybody. Created by William Donahoe of Chi/Donahoe.
