PARM is a global partnership on agricultural risk management (ARM) for development, established in 2013 as an outcome of G20 discussions on agricultural growth and food security.  It is a multi-donor partnership between the European Commission (EC), the French Development Agency (AFD), the Italian Cooperation (DGCS/AICS), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), and the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD).The Platform provides technical support to governments for the integration of gender responsive ARM into policies, institutional capacities and investments to move away from a culture of coping with disasters towards a smart management of risk.Within its mandate and operational framework, PARM hosts key initiatives and programmes, including INSURED and FARM-D.
