Start The starting point At the first Swiss Global Digital Summit in September 2019, top representatives from globally active companies, from academic institutions and renowned international organisations kicked off the Swiss Digital Initiative (SDI). The initiative has a global focus and is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. It was initiated by digitalswitzerland and Federal Councillor Ueli Maurer. Read more → Principles Work Our work In the conversation during the first Swiss Global Digital Summit it became obvious that one of the most pressing issues for companies, civil society representatives and academic institutions is the notion of trust. Without trust, the most advanced technologies don't bring an added value. Thus, in the first phase of the Swiss Digital Initiative, it became clear that its first project will revolve around “trust”.
