I’m so excited to be the first to welcome you to Utah Tech University. I’m thrilled you chose Utah Tech as your destination for higher education. I’m Penny Mills, your Student Body President. I’m here to let you know a little bit about what makes Utah Tech so great and what it means to be a Trailblazer.First off, we have a motto here at Utah Tech State which is “active learning, active life”. We stand by our belief that the more you get involved on and off campus, the greater your experience will be. Clubs, intramurals, Student Government, and student working opportunities are just a few examples of ways you can apply this mantra and take your learning to the next level. Make the most of your time here at Utah Tech State by getting involved which will allow you to broaden your horizons, expand your opportunities, and blaze a trail to your successful future.Second, Utah Tech University serves its community and students by offering the best education, experience, service, and tradition. In turn, we expect our faculty, staff, and students to uphold those same values by being examples and leaving a legacy for those who follow in their footsteps. This is what it means to be a Trailblazer: pursuing your goals and aspirations while helping others do the same. I believe as students we can always be doing more for ourselves and those around us, and as a result become a gold standard for what a unified D1 University looks like.Lastly, I wanted to personally invite you all to come meet me; I want to hear from you! Please stop by my office on the second floor of the Gardner Student Center and let’s get to know each other over a box of Oreos and some peanut butter. I’m your advocate and I want to help you have the best experience possible! Blaze on Trailblazers!Your Student Body President and friend,Penny MillsStudent GovernmentPenny MillsStudent Body PresidentStudent GovernmentKatie Sanders VP of AcademicsStudent GovernmentCesar RuizVP of ClubsStudent GovernmentDevon Rice VP of Student LifeStudent GovernmentKate SansomVP of MarketingStudent GovernmentHolly HurtadoVP of ServiceStudent GovernmentShare Your VoiceConnect With UsSkip social media contentSkip social media contentGeneral InformationAccreditationAccessibilityAbout UTContact UTEmergency InformationGivingGRAMA RequestIncident Reporting FormIT Help DeskPhoto CreditsPolicy & ProceduresReport a ConcernStudent InclusivenessRight to KnowColleges & ProgramsHealth SciencesBusinessHumanities & Social SciencesArtsEducationScience, Engineering, & TechnologyUT OnlineConcurrent EnrollmentContinuing EducationInstitute For Continued LearningAdministrationAdministrative AffairsBusiness ServicesUniversity PoliceCARESDevelopmentEmployment OpportunitiesEvent Services & Risk ManagementFacilities ManagementHuman ResourcesMarketing and CommunicationOffice of the PresidentScholarshipsStudent AffairsTitle IXUniversity AdvancementSocial MediaWebsite FeedbackCampus MapsVirtualClassroomsUtah Tech University225 South University Avenue St. George, UT 84770 |435-652-7500 |Copyright © 2019 |Right to Know | Privacy | Terms
