In this regard, programs within the U.S. Army Educational Outreach Program (AEOP) portfolio have put in place preventive measures to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Please note that these preventive measures and policies may be different for individual programs and/or sites. Be sure to check the program website for additional information. However, there is no guarantee that one cannot be infected by such disease regardless of the preventive measures and policies set forth.ASSUMPTION OF RISK:I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and I understand the risks involved in my participation in the AEOP program. I voluntarily assume such risk that I may be exposed to or infected with COVID-19 by attending the AEOP program. I understand that the risk upon traveling to and from the venue, or attending the program due to acts, omissions, or negligence of others resulting to exposure to COVID-19 that may lead to personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. I assume all the foregoing risks and accept responsibility for any illness, injury, damage, loss, or claim of any kind, that I may incur.LIABILITY WAIVER:I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless AEOP, Battelle, and AEOP Consortium members and partners, their employees, agents, and representatives, from all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating to COVID-19.
