Thank you to our Corporate Partner Pitch Coaches for providing invaluable support and coaching to our 5 WBE Finalists 2021Shirley Marx Pitch Competition Series What You Need to Know Eligibility Requirements and Competition Process Eligibility RequirementsIn order to be eligible to compete, a participant must:Be an owner of the business.Be currently WBE certified by the WBDC.Have never been a 1st or 2nd place winner in a previous WBDC or WBENC pitch competition.Have attended the required virtual pitch workshop on May 4, 2021.Competition Process Register for the Pitch Competition Series and the virtual pitch workshop.Attend the required virtual pitch workshop on May 4, 2021.Top 10 Round 1 semi-finalists will be paired and receive one coaching session from a Corporate Partner, and create and submit a 3-minute video for Round 2. Round 2 video submission will be evaluated by a panel of Corporate Partner Judges.Top 5 Round 2 finalists will receive an additional coaching session from their Corporate Partner coach from Round 2 and create and submit a 3-minute video for Round 3. Round 3 video submissions will be evaluated by a panel of Corporate Partner Judges.Top 5 finalists will have their Round 3 video submissions shown during the WBDC Annual Midwest Conference.1st and 2nd place finalists will be announced during the WBDC Annual Midwest Conference.
