Thank you for using the .US WHOIS Data Accuracy Reporting System. The following form will allow you to report inaccurate or incomplete WHOIS data within the .US namespace. This reporting tool is designed to allow Internet users to report suspected inaccurate WHOIS information or Nexus data of .US domain names. Data collected through this tool will be submitted to the appropriate registrar for handling, investigation and correction as needed. .US Accredited Registrars are required to maintain accurate WHOIS information and Nexus information for all domain names they sponsor. They are obligated to obtain accurate contact information from registrants and provide this data to the Registry. In addition, they are required to investigate and correct any reported WHOIS or Nexus inaccuracies. If you need to update your own contact information, you should contact your accredited Registrar or Reseller directly. The .US Registry does not make updates to WHOIS data for registrants. If you do not know who your accredited Registrar or Reseller is, go to www.whois.us and perform a lookup on your domain name. The sponsoring registrar listed in the results is the official accredited registrar of your domain. Please begin the reporting process by entering the domain name of concern, along with your name and email address in the form below: Thank you for using the .US NEXUS System. The following form will allow you to report inaccurate or incomplete NEXUS data within the .US TLD space. Registrants whose .US domain names are selected for Nexus revalidation are required to provide a written response with supporting documentary evidence, demonstrating that they meet the usTLD Nexus Category identified in their domain name registration. The following are examples of acceptable documentary evidence for each usTLD Nexus Category, as well as a description of the information that must be shown for each to demonstrate compliance with the usTLD Nexus Requirements. We recommends that registrants redact identifier numbers from documentary evidence provided pursuant to a Nexus check. When registering a domain name in the usTLD, registrants must identity the category under which they qualify for the usTLD Nexus Requirement. The Nexus category provided by at the time of registration will be relayed in .US WHOIS Information using the following category codes. Nexus Category 1 C11: A natural person who is a United States Citizen. C12: A natural person who is a permanent resident of the United States of America, or any of its possessions or territories. Nexus Category 2 C21: A U.S.-based organization or company formed within one of the fifty (50) U.S. states, the District of Columbia, or any of the United States possessions or territories, or organized or otherwise constituted under the laws of a state of the United States of America, the District of Columbia or any of its possessions or territories or a U.S. federal, state, or local government entity or a political subdivision thereof. Nexus Category 3 C31: A foreign entity or organization that has a bona fide presence in the United States of America or any of its possessions or territories who regularly engages in lawful activities, sales of goods or services or other business, commercial or non-commercial, including not-for-profit relations in the United States. C32: A foreign entity that has an office or other facility in the United States. Please note that if you need to file both a WHOIS and Nexus complaint, you must submit two separate requests. Please begin the report process by entering the domain name of concern, along with your name and email address in the form below: © US Terms of Use.
