Schedule Panelists About The War on Terror Film Festival is a month-long, public virtual event featuring 20 award-winning films made over the last 20 years that document abuses, highlight crimes, and satirize absurdities of the so-called “war on terror." Since 9/11, filmmakers have shined a spotlight on the wars on Afghanistan and Iraq, indefinite detention at Guantanamo Bay prison, torture, surveillance, and the targeting of Muslim communities in the US and Europe. The slate of films include documentary and narrative features and cuts across genres from drama to comedy.The dates for the virtual festival are: October 1–3; 8–10; 15–17; 22–24; and 29–31, with four films screened per weekend.
